Crescent Moon's Monica

Crescent Moon's Monica has been added to our foundation herd. We were fortunate enough to see her at her home ranch in Oregon during the annual Education with a Destination seminar.

Monica is the first female offspring out of 13 time banner winner and 2015 AOA National Color Champion Crescent Moon's Accoyo Augustine. Monica is a sturdy well proportioned female that has extraordinary fleece. It is long, has great crimp, well expressed in brightness and dense. Its just an all around excellent fleece.

Monica hails from a very strong maternal line. Both her mom, Crescent Moon's Vera, and her grand dam will nurse other cria along with their own which can be a great boon for those orphan cria, or first time mothers who have difficulty nursing. We believe Monica will follow in the footsteps of these fabulous females.

Monica has a great personality, and is very easy to handle. In summer, 2020 she will be bred to Crescent Moon's Borromeo, anticipating great things from this pairing.
