We thank our friends Scott, Debbie and Rachel at Crescent Moon Ranch for letting us get our hands on this very special stud male. Borromeo is an impressive male that resulted from the combination of two great gray genetic lines. He was sired by Snowmass Enlightenment, a gray male with perfect confirmation and magnificent fleece. Borromeo's dam is Crescent Moon's Patsy, the daughter of the deceased ATV ADONNIS. His 2012 histogram had an impressive AFD of 17.2. Borromeo has excellent conformation with a solid square body on sturdy legs. He has a dense fleece producing an excellent blanket. His classic Tuxedo head with a "Hercule Poirot" brown mustache makes him extremely unique. As he ages he has that lingering fineness that is so important in a stud. The product of two rose grey parents, Borromeo won blue ribbons in both the brown and gray classes for Crescent Moon. But he didn't stop there!! Borromeo took Reserve Color Champion at the 2015 Railsplitter Alpaca Show. Judge Jill MacLeod called him "one chill dude" and she was right! Borromeo's relaxed air has made him a farm favorite.
