Lucy

Lucy was another of our Great Pyrenees obtained from Eriphos Farms in Missouri. She had superior conformation and knew her job well, but was less outgoing than the rest of the Pyrs. She was determined in her job, and spent most of the time in the "girl barn" and worked with Izzy. Unfortunately Lucy developed non regenerating hemolytic anemia. We tried for several months to treat her, even taking her to the University of Illinois Veterinary School, but nothing cured the disease. It was an agonizing decision, but Dr. Lee came out to the farm, and we had her put down while she was with her beloved herd. Rest in Peace sweet girl, we miss you.
