Eriphos Farms Samson "Samson"

Samson came to PRA at 12 weeks of age with 7 months old Izzy (Isadora). She took a lot of time to train him well. He was a goofy little guy when he came, but turned into quite the livestock guardian dog. He became our night patrol. If you would go down to the barn after 8 or 9 pm, you will see the other 3 dogs, but not Samson. He would be out by the perimeter fences watching and guarding so that nothing could harm his herd. He truly was a gentle giant. When you came into the barn and he knew you "belonged", he would sit on your feet so that you HAD to pet him. True guardian until the end, one morning we came down and found him dead in the field where he had been guarding. Rest in Peace Samson, we greatly miss you.
